Melody and I are always on the lookout for new opportunities - we met Brian and Brandee from Structure at a Chateau Ste. Michelle Concert and got on like a house on fire, leading to us investing in the winery that has taken off. Recently, we got to know someone else through our participation in the Seattle Yacht Club that is leading us to our next investment adventure by expanding into the restaurant industry.
More to come as we finalize the investment, but we are really excited as this investment has all the elements we look for - a leader who approaches the enterprise with passion and joy, a good location and concept for the restaurant that creates value for their neighbors and neighborhood as well as being a solid investment opportunity for both cash flow and capital appreciation.
